Photo Essay: Minot's Road Warriors Published Nov. 20, 2012 By Senior Airman Jesse Lopez Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs CAMP GUERNSEY, Wyo. -- The 10-day nuclear-convoy training exercise, called Road Warrior, is designed to teach Airmen how to safeguard, transport and recover a strategic asset. The students are given the opportunity to hone their sharpshooting skills on a U.S. Army qualification course, as well as familiarity with numerous weapons and procedures vital to the mission of Minot Air Force Base. The high-intensity training is designed to ensure the skills these Airmen learn become embedded into their daily mission, ensuring Minot's strategic assets are safe, secure and effective.
