MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The Airmen assigned to the 5th Communications Squadron's Base Communications Security (COMSEC) office manage the largest COMSEC program in the Air Force, and are responsible for over 24,000 cryptographic keys, codes, and equipment items. They provide the critical security of all networks at Minot Air Force Base through the administration of base computer security, emission security and Information Assurance programs. They also oversee the base Cryptographic Access Program, which tracks all personnel with access to COMSEC material and enables the counterintelligence polygraph examination of enrollees.
