MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The Minot Top 3 awarded Senior Airman Blake A. Radey, 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron response force leader, with the Top 3 Award, March 21. Airman Radey led 688 hours of Mobile Fire Team security for four penetrated sites, thirteen open launchers, and four nuclear convoys in direct support of maintenance operations. His leadership was instrumental to the 91 MW maintaining a 99% ICBM alert rate. Additionally, Airman Radey’s superior military bearing and excellent public speaking abilities resulted in his selection to conduct the unit’s mission brief for the CUI IG inspectors. Moreover, he was hand-selected to assist the Convoys Flight during Lt. Gen. Judith A. Fedder’s visit where he showcased MFT capabilities and tactics. For this and much more, Airman Radey has proved he is a true asset to the City of Minot, his squadron, Minot Air Force Base and the Air Force. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman 1st Class Stephanie Ashley)
