MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --  In February 2013, the following Minot Air Force Base service members were punished under Article 15 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice:

1. An airman from the 5th Civil Engineer Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman basic, suspended forfeiture of $758 pay per month for two months and a reprimand for one violation of Article 92, Minor in Consumption and one violation of Article 134, Drunk and Disorderly.

2. An airman first class from the 5th Logistics Readiness Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman basic, with reduction below airman suspended, forfeiture of $100 pay per month for two months and 60 days restriction to base for one violation of Article 111, Driving Under the Influence.

3. An airman first class from the 5th LRS received a reduction in rank to airman basic, with reduction below airman suspended, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand for one violation of Article 95, Resisting Arrest, one violation of Article 128, Simple Assault and one violation of Article 134, Indecent Language.

4. A senior airman from the 5th Medical Operations Squadron received a suspended reduction in rank to airman first class and a reprimand for two violations of Article 128, Simple Assault.

5. A senior airman from the 5th Maintenance Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman first class, forfeiture of $1,007 pay for one month and a reprimand for one violation of Article 111, Driving Under the Influence.

6. An airman first class from the 5th Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman, suspended forfeiture of $849 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand for one violation of Article 92, Contributing to Minors.

7. An airman first class from the 5th SFS received a suspended reduction in rank to airman, forfeiture of $500 pay for one month and 45 days extra duty for two violations of Article 92, Dereliction of Duty.

8. An airman from the 5th SFS received a reduction in rank to airman basic, suspended forfeiture of $758 pay per month for two months and 45 days extra duty for one violation of Article 92, Minor in Consumption.

9. A senior airman from the 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman, with reduction below airman first class suspended, suspended forfeiture of $849 pay per month for two months and 30 days extra duty for one violation of Article 92, Dereliction of Duty and one violation of Article 107, False Official Statement.
 
10. A 1st lieutenant from the 91st Missile Wing received a forfeiture of $1,887 pay per month for two month and a reprimand for one violation of Article 92, Wrongful Use of a Controlled Substance, one violation of Article 108, Damage to Military Property and one violation of Article 134, Fraternization.

11. A chief master sergeant from the 91st MW received a reduction in rank to senior master sergeant and a reprimand for one violation of Article 134, Adultery.

12. An airman first class from the 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman basic, with reduction below Airman suspended and a suspended forfeiture of $849 pay per month for 2 months for two violations of Article 86, Absent Without Leave.

13. An airman from the 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron received a reduction in rank to airman basic for one violation of Article 134, Drunk and Disorderly.

Along with nonjudicial punishment under Article 15 of the UCMJ, members who commit misconduct are subject to other adverse actions. This includes Administrative Discharge Actions and Administrative Demotions. Additional misconduct may be met with more severe adverse actions, such as trial by court-martial.
