MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The 5th MUNS Munitions Storage Element consists of 34 Airman responsible for break out and bed down of all conventional explosives arriving at Minot Air Force Base. This comprises bombs, missiles, bullets, egress items and missile field defense assets. They maintain and safeguard 2.1K munitions line items valued at over $113 Million stored in more than 100 munitions storage facilities within the Munitions and Weapons Storage areas.
