PRESS RELEASE: Minot Airman dies in Guam Published April 30, 2013 Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- An Airman deployed to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, died Saturday, April 27 at 10:32 a.m. Airman 1st Class Joshua Grier, 20, was found unresponsive April 27 and was transferred to Guam Memorial Hospital in Guam, where he was pronounced dead. The cause of Grier's death remains under investigation. Airman Grier is assigned to the 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as a B-52 Assistant Dedicated Crew Chief since September 16, 2012. Grier deployed to Guam in March 2013 to provide support to the U.S. Pacific Commands' continuous bomber presence in the region.
