Heitkamp visits Minot Published July 8, 2013 Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- North Dakota Senator Heidi Heitkamp, visits the staff of the Veterans Affairs Clinic, and discusses policies and challenges for the facility at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., June 28. The tour of the base clinic is one of several visits she will be making to veterans facilities across the state to assess the establishments strengths and short comings. While at the base, Heitkamp was able to meet veterans and their families face to face and learn firsthand about the care and assistance that they are able to receive at the base VA clinic.
