MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --
The North Dakota State Fair is scheduled to host Military Appreciation Day on July 23, 2019 in Minot, North Dakota to honor veterans and their families.
The annual event will provide military members with discounted entry fees, free carnival rides and a free beef picnic sponsored by the North Dakota Beef Commission, among other agricultural groups in the state.
Airmen at Minot Air Force Base will be given an alternate duty location to attend the event. All military members must present their military ID upon entry.
Minot AFB first sergeants will be distributing coupons for the event to their various units.
In addition to the Military Appreciation Day, the fair will be hosting concerts, bull and ranch bronc riding competitions, and a ranch rodeo competition.
