Many states offer active-duty military members special hunting and fishing opportunities and discounted fees. However, as members move across the nation, it can be challenging to know the local laws. It’s important for members stationed at Minot Air Force Base comply with North Dakota’s laws and policies, so they can take full advantage of the opportunities available. To determine if you are a N.D. resident, you must have a physical address in N.D. that you have resided at for at least six months, and a N.D. driver’s license. If you do not have both, you are considered a non-resident.
