Minot Air Force Base members teamed up with local law enforcement personnel to participate in the 2017 Law Enforcement Torch Run at Minot AFB, N.D., June 7, 2017. Every year more than 400 law enforcement personnel gather to promote the concept of partnership and prosperity as the “Guardians of the Flame”. This event was held in honor of the Special Olympics North Dakota State Summer Games and took place in communities across North Dakota including Bismarck, Grand Forks, Jamestown, Minot, Pembina and Valley City.
