5th SFS Defenders train for GS challenge Published March 24, 2017 By Senior Airman Kristoffer Kaubisch Minot Air Force Base Public Affairs MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Members of the 5th Security Forces Squadron participated in tryouts for the squadron's Global Strike Challenge team at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., March 16, 2017. The tryouts pushed the defenders to their physical limits with a ruck in full gear, push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, buddy runs, room clearing and weapons firing.
