The 91st Missile Wing, through their extraordinary and exemplary support of the U.S. Strategic Command’s (USSTRATCOM) strategic deterrence mission, has been awarded the 2019 Omaha Trophy for the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) category.

Command Chief Master Sgt. Brian Hornback, Air Force Global Strike Command, visited Minot Air Force Base, N.D., here July 16-19. During his visit, he performed a B-52H Stratofortress launch, received a tour of a missile alert facility, met with Airmen from the 219th Security Forces Squadron and received a tour of Camp Grafton, N.D. As the AFGSC Command Chief, Hornback is responsible for advising the commander on all matters influencing the professional development, training, combat readiness, utilization, morale and mission effectiveness of assigned enlisted personnel.
