The 91st Missile Wing, through their extraordinary and exemplary support of the U.S. Strategic Command’s (USSTRATCOM) strategic deterrence mission, has been awarded the 2019 Omaha Trophy for the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) category.

Members of the base chaplain core recently hosted a carnival-themed event at the Northern Lights Chapel in support of the “Wild Wednesdays” resiliency initiative at Minot Air Force Base, N.D., Aug. 7. A conservative estimate counted 500 Airmen and their families in attendance. The carnival was a way to enhance quality of life for Airmen and their dependents and was also part of the Strong Family programs. Wild Wednesdays so far included a movie night at the base theater and a pool party. The carnival was the last event to be hosted this year.
