The 91st Missile Wing, through their extraordinary and exemplary support of the U.S. Strategic Command’s (USSTRATCOM) strategic deterrence mission, has been awarded the 2019 Omaha Trophy for the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) category.

The 5th Bomb Wing Chapel Team has epitomized the wing commander’s vision of mission ownership. In early August, the team implemented an innovative bi-weekly program for the Minot Air Force Base community, titled Wild Wednesdays, that centers on Airmen and family resiliency. The program’s first event garnered an impressive attendance of more than 350 individuals. The event consisted of a free movie, pizza and scavenger hunt. The Chapel Team held several events throughout the summer, ending with a Team Minot carnival which was a huge success with more than 500 individuals in attendance.
