Repair and Reclamation section's 33 highly skilled technicians execute heavy maintenance involving landing gear, flight control, engine throttle control, bomb door and drag chute systems.  They are also qualified on aircraft fault analysis and isolation, aircraft jacking, functional checks and component overhaul.  The section also manages tear down/build-up of main landing gear and tip protection gear wheel and tire assemblies.  Furthermore, the section is responsible for Crashed, Damaged, Disabled Aircraft Recovery (CDDAR) within 250 miles of Minot AFB.  From daily maintenance support to the flight line during launch and recovery operations to accomplishing inspections every 450 flight hours they support the 5th Bomb Wing's flying hour program and PACOM's Continuous Bomber Presence at Andersen AFB, Guam.
