Airman 1st Class Timothy A. Chase, 5th Munitions Squadron, 5th Maintenance Group, has epitomized the 5 BW/CC’s vision of mission ownership.  During the month of April, A1C Chase served as a crew member during the completion of 50 maintenance actions on 26 munitions handling trailers.  His attention to detail led to zero data integrity team (DIT) errors in the maintenance information system for the month.  A1C Chase’s outstanding work ethic proved vital in maintaining a 98% in service rate for a munitions maintenance handling equipment fleet valued at $3.1 million.  Additionally, he was pivotal in developing the quarterly maintenance schedule by creating 126 work orders, ensuring on-time maintenance of 55 munitions handling trailers.  Finally, A1C Chase managed the work center’s hazardous material account containing 58 items, passing two Quality Assurance evaluations with zero defects noted.  Airman Chase clearly supports the 5 BW mission by providing safe and reliable munitions handling equipment to all agencies and embracing the “Own It” mindset.
