A B-52H Stratofortress is being aerial refueled at 27,000 feet during RED FLAG-Alaska 09-1 Oct. 16 at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. B-52s flew a 23-hour-long endurance mission from Anderson Air Base, Guam, to participate in the joint exercise. Almost 300 Airmen from Minot Air Force Base are deployed to Guam as part of a four-month rotation which will provide U.S. Pacific Command with a continuous bomber presence in the Asia-Pacific region.(U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jonathan Snyder)
