The Outpatient Medical Records section at the 5th Medical Group is responsible for maintaining medical records for the more than 12,000 beneficiaries here at Minot Air Force Base. The 8-person team performs management functions during in- and out-processing, patient registration, filing and researching, as well as customer service on a daily basis. Records technicians also request, receive and file patient information received from off-base provider visits to ensure each member's medical records contain a complete history of care. Their ultimate focus is on providing the vital documents needed to maintain the health and well-being of Team Minot members, as they support and execute the dual wing nuclear mission.
