The 91st Missile Wing, through their extraordinary and exemplary support of the U.S. Strategic Command’s (USSTRATCOM) strategic deterrence mission, has been awarded the 2019 Omaha Trophy for the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) category.

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. -- Team Minot’s 23rd Bomb Squadron was recently awarded the Brigadier General Kenneth N. Walker award, earning the title of the best overall bomber squadron in the command. Members of the 23rd Bomb Squadron along with other 5th Bomb Wing personnel recently returned here from deployment to Guam. The members were there as part of U.S. Pacific Command's Continuous Bomber Presence mission, where they completed 1200 flight hours and 186 sorties.
