MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- The 5th Bomb Wing Scheduling section manages the 6,400 hour/1,097 sortie/$127.1 million dollar Flying Hour Program. The shop coordinates through ACC, AFGSC, 8th AF, and with 5th BW XP on a regular basis regarding the execution of the hours and training planned/accomplished. Within the 5th Operations Group, 5th BW Scheduling coordinates long range and short range planning with the 5th Operations Support Squadron, 23rd Bomb Squadron, 69 Bomb Squadron to ensure their training and upgrade plans are executable. Within the 5th Maintenance Group, the scheduling division coordinates with the 5th Maintenance Squadron, 5th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron,  5 Mission Operations Squadron, 5the Munitions Squadron and 705 MUNS on a constant basis to ensure training requirements are executable and supportable. 5th BW Scheduling is also responsible for briefing senior leadership on the progress and future impacts of the Wing's Flying Hour Program on a regular basis, thereby ensuring the 5th BW's aviators are skilled and prepared for wartime missions.
