Airmen firefighters ascend to new heights in annual training
MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. – Senior Airman Reginald Bramlett, 5th Civil Engineering Squadron firefighter and Senior Airman Andrew Fruehan, 5th Civil Engineering Squadron firefighter, help secure a victim, Rescue Technician Instructors Staff Sgt. Aaron Brackett, to a safety harness on top of the air traffic control tower during a high angle rescue training exercise here, Aug. 20. Instructors from the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas, came to Minot AFB as part of the Mobile Training Team taught Minot Airmen low and high angle rescue procedures as well as rappelling including passing a knot in the line, patient pick off rescues, and confined space rescues base helping to keep Minot fire fighters sharp in their capabilities to save lives in the face of danger.
