The 91st Missile Wing, through their extraordinary and exemplary support of the U.S. Strategic Command’s (USSTRATCOM) strategic deterrence mission, has been awarded the 2019 Omaha Trophy for the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) category.

Engelman, from the 705th Munitions Squadron, with the Own It Award for the month of September. Both of them exemplified the commanders vision of mission ownership. Engelman devised a solution that enabled both the immediate download of four missiles and reduced a replacement operation, that typically takes three days to complete, down to only one shift.
