Col Adam T. Rector is the Commander, 91st Maintenance Group, 91st Missile Wing, Minot Air Force Base (AFB), N.D. He leads a 400-member organization responsible for maintaining, operating, and generating 150 Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) systems, launch and launch control facilities, and associated equipment providing strategic nuclear deterrence in support of United States national security objectives.
Colonel Rector earned his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in 2003. During his 23 years of service, he has served in a variety of positions at the squadron, group, wing and staff level leading ICBM, nuclear, aircraft and conventional munitions maintenance. Prior to his current position, the colonel was the Commander, Detachment 3, Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah.
