COLONEL CYNTHIA M. LUNDELL

Colonel Cynthia M. Lundell commands the 5th Maintenance Group at Minot Air Force Base, N.D. She is responsible for all aircraft maintenance and combat generation operations for the 5th Bomb Wing's 35 B-52H Stratofortress aircraft as well as all weapons maintenance operations for the 91st Space Wing's Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missiles. She commands 1,200 maintenance, weapons, munitions and support personnel.

Colonel Lundell enlisted in the Air Force in August 1976 as an Avionics Communications Navigation Specialist. She was commissioned in 1983 through ROTC and returned to active duty January 1984. She served in a major command, a Unified Command and NATO and has held various line and staff positions in or related to the aircraft maintenance and supply career field.
