MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. --
Recently, two of Minot's very own took home Air Force-level awards. Both members were from the 5th Force Support Squadron "Dragons". They were honored at the World Wide A1 Conference held in San Antonio, Texas, March 11.
Staff Sgt. Tenisha E. Chism, 5th FSS career development supervisor, was awarded Personnel NCO of the Year. She will be PCSing to Scott AFB, Ill., upon her completion of contracting school.
Melissa L. Drago, 5th FSS Child Development Center program technician, won award for Airman and Family Services Flight (FSF) Technician of the Year.
The Air Force level "Airman and Family Services Flight (FSF) Technician of the Year Award" was erroneously awarded to a nominee that was placed in the incorrect category. The mistake wasn't realized until after the original release award message. After clarification, Drago was announced a few days later as the winner.
Congratulations to these outstanding members of Team Minot.
