The fire department held a memorial stair climb in honor of those who gave the ultimate sacrifice responding to the 9/11 attacks.   • 5th AMXS competes in Load Crew of the Quarter Competition

    Members of the 5th AMXS competed in a Load Crew of the Quarter Competition at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota. Two weapons load crews, representing the 23rd and 69th Bomb Squadrons, were timed on their ability to efficiently load an inert munition onto a B-52H Stratofortress. The 5th AMXS hosted the competition to showcase their attention to detail, teamwork, precision and bomb loading proficiency.

  • 5th SFS MWDs fly with 54th Helicopter Squadron

    The 5th Security Forces Squadron military working dog section worked with the 54th Helicopter Squadron for a familiarization training flight at Minot Air Force Base, North Dakota, Aug. 23, 2018. The training between the 54th HS and 5th SFS MWD section helps promote operations between the two units and ensures MWD teams are familiar with helicopter flight procedures. This is the first time these two units have worked together.
