Lt Col Soo A. Sohn comes to us from the 60th Medical Group, Travis AFB, California, where she served since July 2012 as the Pharmacy Flight Operations Officer. She led a staff of 144 and managed an annual budget of $32 million dollars providing state of the art pharmaceutical healthcare to 477,000 beneficiaries. With "mission first: safety always" as her motto, Lt Col Sohn provided oversight to two outpatient pharmacies, an inpatient pharmacy, an infusion pharmacy, a refill pharmacy, a clinical pharmacy, a pharmacy administration and support element producing 1.6 million prescriptions and 6.4 thousand pharmacist-led appointments, while supporting three Doctor of Pharmacy candidate intern programs and an American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists residency program.
Lt Col Sohn graduated from the Rutgers University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy in 1997 and from the University of Phoenix where she received her Master of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration in 2007. Lt Col Sohn received a direct commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force in August 1997.
