MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Airman 1st Class Bryan Schroeder, 5th Civil Engineer Squadron fire fighter, performs an equipment check up here Jan 12. Airman Schroeder is one of 11 fire fighters who responded to a call involving an individual who had fallen approximately eight feet into an excavation site off of Glacier Drive in base housing. Not only are hard copies kept in the drawing vault, but also digital copies are stored. Members of CES, like engineering assistant apprentices, use various means to help with their work such as Computer Aided Design drawings and surveying technology, which includes GPS.
