Own It Award
MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Congratulations to Master Sgt. Christopher B. Stevens for earning the 5th Bomb Wing Own It Award. Stevens was instrumental in the 5th BW’s excellent rating during the CUI. He managed the wing self-inspection program, assured all organizations assigned monitors, worked with each monitor on their programs and performed pre-inspections ahead of the Air Force Global Strike Command IG inspectors. His self-inspection program efforts resulted in a low number of fi ndings during the CUI. In addition, Stevens identified a critical gap when the installation MICT POC was reassigned on short notice. Stevens couldn't get the formal training at Warner Robbins AFB, Ga. so he took it upon himself to self-train and become the guru for Minot AFB and a recognized expert in AFGSC when he gave expert advice to many AFGSC staff agencies. For this and much more, Stevens Owns It always in his day-to-day duties and he defi nitely Owned It during the 5th BW and 91st Missile Wing Team Minot CUI. (U.S. Air Force photo/Senior Airman Jose L. Hernandez)`
