54th HS answers the call
MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D -- Members of the 54th Helicopter Squadron were all called upon to take part in a search and rescue mission at the Theodore Roosevelt National Park recently. They provided aerial support in search of a missing hiker. Crew members were: Capt. Zachery Roycroft, 1st Lt. Benjamin Soifer, Senior Airman Joshua Farre, Senior Airman Zachary Zilm, and Staff Sgt. MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Airman 1st Class Vernon Johnson, 91st Missile Security Forces Squadron team member, was presented with Team Minot's Top 3 Airman in Excellence Award for the month of June. Johnson was nominated for the award by his flight chief for being a stellar performer within his unit in support of the 91st Missile Wing's mission. Johnson performs as a Response Force Leader and is charged with the security of PL-1 assets as well as the training and mentoring of newly assigned personnel.
