Petroleum council tours Minot AFB

MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. – Members of the North Dakota Petroleum Council toured Minot Air Force Base on June 29 to get better acquainted with the base's wings, as well as to strengthen ties with the military community. About 30 members of the council visited the base for an orientation about each wing's mission. The Minot AFB missile field shares the area with the Bakken oil development and also agriculture. Kari Cutting, vice president of the N.D. Petroleum Council, the group visiting the base, included members of the council's board of directors, the Regulatory Committee and the Communications Committee.
