Black Eyed Peas, Duhamel raise funds for recovery
MINOT, N.D. -- The Black Eyed Peas perform for nearly 16,000 people at the North Dakota State Fairgrounds, as part of an event orchestrated by actor and Minot native, Josh Duhamel, to support the flood relief, here Sept. 3. More than 200 Minot AFB Airmen volunteered to set up the electrifying evening, as a night of celebrity-filled fun comforted many Minot residents and Airmen who are still recovering from the tragic flood’s aftermath that displaced one-fourth of the city. All concert proceeds will go to the Minot Area Community Foundation’s Minot Area Recovery Fund to assist victims in Minot and surrounding flood affected communities.
