Minot water contamination
MINOT, N.D. – Jason Sorenson, Minot Water Treatment Plant superintendent, gathered with outlaying water plant managers to discuss a solution to the possible water contamination of the Minot water system and the surrounding communities. Due to an overflow pipe’s intake of river water into the clean water reservoir, the State of North Dakota has issued a boil order effective immediately to ensure preventive measures are executed until the quality of the water is verified.
