The 48th annual Thanksgiving Day of Love for Minot Air Force Base and the community was celebrated Nov. 23 where approximately 190 seniors were escorted to the Jimmy Doolittle Center for a Thanksgiving meal served by Minot AFB Airmen.

Minot Air Force Base Airmen volunteered at the 21st annual Salute to Seniors event, which provided senior citizens a day to celebrate Mardi Gras. Volunteers helped with security, serving food and drinks, handing out gifts, and escorting senior citizens to designated areas. The event included music from a Magic City Campus jazz band and also allowed guests to learn more about local healthcare providers.
