There is one presumptive confirmed case of COVID-19 in Ward County, North Dakota.

Team Minot leadership is continually monitoring the situation and working closely with the North Dakota Department of Health to coordinate families with up-to-date information on appropriate measures to prevent potential spread of the virus, as well as any impact to local activities.

To mitigate and manage the risks associated with COVID-19, Team Minot are implementing proactive measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19 among our base population and to ensure continuation of our no-fail mission.

Good hygiene practices are the best preventive measure to control the spread of viruses. Washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, avoiding contact with those who have been sick, going to the doctor when you feel ill, and disinfecting frequently-touched surfaces help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other viruses.  For local information regarding Minot Air Force Base, visit https://www.minot.af.mil/News/Coronavirus-COVID-19-News/ .
