MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. -- Senior Airman William Buchanan, 21, from the 791st Missile Security Forces Squadron, died as a result of injuries sustained during a vehicle accident along Highway 83.
“We are heartbroken as we mourn the loss of one of our own Airmen,” said Col. Colin Connor, 91st Missile Wing commander. “We will continue to support Senior Airman Buchanan’s family, and one another, during this difficult time.”
The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by local authorities. More information will be released as it becomes available.
