Minot Air Force Base Airmen volunteered at the 21st annual Salute to Seniors event, which provided senior citizens a day to celebrate Mardi Gras. Volunteers helped with security, serving food and drinks, handing out gifts, and escorting senior citizens to designated areas. The event included music from a Magic City Campus jazz band and also allowed guests to learn more about local healthcare providers.

The 54th Helicopter Squadron plays a critical role in supporting the 91st Missile Wing by escorting 91 MW Airmen to the missile complex. The unit is responsible for convoy support, missile complex security and maintaining aircrew proficiency. Squadron members also engage in emergency search and rescue mission training.
