Welcome to the 5th Medical Group, Minot AFB, ND. Our goal is to deliver timely and high quality health care to our beneficiaries. This site is intended to provide you with an outline of services we have to serve you, your family and the Minot AFB community. The 5th Medical Group has an enrolled TRICARE population of 12.7K and is home to the largest Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) within the Department of Defense.

Medical Appointments
Appointments can be made by calling 701-723-5633, M-F, 0700-1600. The appointment line is closed on federal holidays and base down days. For after hours non-emergency care, call 701-723-5627 to be triaged by the on call provider and/or to seek authorization for care off-base.
Weekend Care
The clinic is closed on the weekends. For on base emergencies, call 911 or Ambulance Services at 701-723-5627. If you are calling from a cell phone and you are on base, call 701-727-1911.
Sick Call
The Family Health & Pediatrics clinics do not have sick call. If you need to be seen right away, contact the appointment line.
If you are on flying status, and receive care in the Flight Medicine Clinic, you may walk in M-F, 0730-0800 and 1300-1330.
If you are on PRP and returning from an off base appointment, you may walk-in M-Th, 0730-1100 or 1330-1530 and Friday from 0730-1200. If you need additional information, contact the PRP/Flight Medicine Clinic at 701-723-5190.

Pharmacy services are available on the 1st floor of the clinic and in the Ambulance Services lobby via the Automated Script Center. These services include the filling and refilling of prescriptions for medications stocked by the clinic as well as consultation on the proper use, precautions, and side effects of medications. The Automated Script Center is for non-PRP personnel only.

URGENT CARE OPTIONS
TRICARE beneficiaries, including Active Duty members, who do not call for an authorization prior to receiving emergent or urgent care services, may be billed under TRICARE Prime's point-of-service option. Always call for an authorization at the 5th Medical Group prior to seeking treatment at any emergency or urgent care facility (701-723-5633). On-call medical professionals will triage your medical needs and send you to the most suitable care for your situation.

5th MDG Leaders 
You do not need an appointment for Gas Mask Fit Testing. You may walk-in MWF 0900-1100 and 1300-1500 to have your gas mask fit tested. BioEnvironmental Engineering Flt is located on the 2d floor of the 5th Medical Group bldg. Follow the signs for "Gas Mask Fit Testing."
